Saurabh is a serial entrepreneur having founded Virtualness, Verix.io and is now building a generative engine optimization platform, OptimizeGEO.ai, shaping the future of AI search. He is passionate about the evolution of new technology and has played a pivotal role in several major transitions, including Web2, mobile, video, social, the creator economy, blockchain and web3. He is currently focused on building the infrastructure blocks for LLM optimization as a co-founder of OptimizeGEO.ai.
Formerly, Saurabh held key leadership roles across technology and media over two decades. He spent nearly a decade at Meta, leading teams across multiple geographies and launching several products that went on to be used by over a billion users. His last role was Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, where he led product partnerships for entertainment experiences on Facebook and Instagram. Before Meta, Saurabh was Vice President & Business Head at Viacom Group, heading digital initiatives at Star India, and previously worked as an Investment Banker with Bank of America.
His contributions have been widely recognized through several prestigious honours, including serving as Chairperson of the Asian Academy Creative Awards, being named 40Under40 by Impact Magazine, featuring among the Top 100 Global Talent by the UK Government’s Tech Nation List, and receiving the President of India’s Kalam Innovation and Governance Award. Saurabh is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; an Associate Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and holds an MBA from the SP Jain School of Management.
