Ronald Herrera is Robotics Technical Lead at TotalEnergies, with more than 25 years of experience spanning oil and gas production, field operations and industrial robotics. He leads the development and operational deployment of autonomous robotic solutions across complex and safety-critical energy environments.
His work includes integrated offshore robotics pilots, remote fleet supervision and the use of autonomous systems for inspection and monitoring. Ronald focuses on moving robotics beyond experimentation by integrating new technologies with existing operational processes, IT/OT infrastructure and workforce requirements. He brings practical experience of building trust in autonomous systems and scaling robotic operations across demanding industrial sites.
