Javier Bello is a transformation leader and technology strategist with over 20 years of experience bridging the gap between complex engineering and commercial growth. Currently serving as an expert adviser for the European Commission, Javier has assessed and coached over 300 innovative EU projects in Big Data, AI, fintech, and digital platforms, overseeing budgets of up to €17 million. An entrepreneur at heart, he has co-founded three businesses, including a digital agency that he led to a successful exit.
Throughout his career, he has led massive digital transformations for global giants like BBVA, Paysafe, and Ingenico, where he recently served as Head of Product Solutions EMEA. Javier specializes in moving organizations beyond experimentation into operationalized intelligence, having successfully transitioned legacy hardware businesses to SaaS-driven models and consolidated fragmented product estates into scalable, API-first architectures. A passionate educator, he also serves as a Guest Lecturer at London South Bank University and a Venture Review Panellist for Imperial College and LSE, focusing on the practical application of AI, human-centered design, and sustainable high-growth strategies.
