George Cave is VP of Robotics & Design at Apian, where he works on the development and deployment of autonomous logistics systems for healthcare.
His work focuses on bringing Physical AI into complex real-world environments, combining robotics, autonomous systems and human-centred design to address operational challenges across the NHS. At Apian, George has worked across drone and ground-robotics deployments, exploring how autonomous technologies can integrate with existing healthcare infrastructure and workflows without creating additional burden for clinical teams.
More recently, his work has included the use of hospital-scale digital twins and simulation to train and validate robotic systems before real-world deployment. George brings a practical perspective on moving robotics beyond demonstrations and into safe, scalable operational use.
